The Reliability & Engineering Manager role is a key position in the team, responsible for the continued development and implementation of the reliability strategy and the relentless pursuit of down time elimination. They are looking for a continuous improvement philosophy and delivery of best-in-class results. This role will ensure that the right decisions are made regarding maintenance v capex spend.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership of the Maintenance and Engineering teams to deliver highly reliably equipment (<2% equipment downtime)
- Spare parts management, process control and condition monitoring
- Ensure all maintenance and reliability solutions and projects are geared to delivering production, safety and quality objectives
- Create and maintain an eliminate waste and continuous improvement culture
- Own the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance activities and reporting, seeking opportunity for continuous improvement
- Enable year on year sustainable improvements through energy efficiency
- Develop a robust organisation structure
- Embed maintenance planning processes (Predictive maintenance, labour requirements, spend)
- Develop a data driven decision making process that is aligned to the objectives of production
- Create a methodical and consistent RCA process
- Set safety, environmental, quality and behavioural expectations
Experience / Qualifications:
- Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualifications
- Post trade qualifications in business management/ reliability/ planning/ condition monitoring Preferred
- Experience in Predicative maintenance solutions with continuous high-speed food processing and food packaging
- Advanced planning capability
- Root cause analysis
- Reliability management
