About The Role As a Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist, you will have responsibility for the implementation, measurement, analysis and next-step recommendations across our key propositions: Puppy & Kitten/New Pet, Subscriptions and Vet Health Care Plans. You will be accountable for A/B testing and optimising conversion funnels through the site, reducing customer friction and increasing conversion rate across key customer sign-up and subscription journeys. You will ensure the validity and reliability of test data with synchronised front and backend testing, for a fast paced, high volume testing schedule. Working in a matrix structure within the Optimisation and Proposition teams, you will support delivery of the most effective, relevant, and ultimately personalised experiences for existing and prospective customers – always focusing on commercial site performance, and customer acquisition and retention. Whilst a key member of the Optimisation and Proposition Team, you will also work closely with digital design and content teams, to test and learn new landing pages and creative assets, in addition to supporting our Digital Marketing teams to improve ROI on marketing campaign investment. You will also work closely with our Digital Transformation project team to ensure any winning experiences and optimisations are future proofed, and winning variations are carried through to the new digital platform designs and features. About You You must be highly analytical and curious, with a data-led and commercial mindset. You will be communicating with a diverse set of stakeholders as part of the role, so it is important you have the confidence and communication skills to do this. Planning and executing AB testing with direct experience with AB Tasty (or an industry equivalent) is essential
Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with previous experience of coding tests / working with testing software
A proven track record in conversion rate optimisation, UX, or development – where CRO has played a key part in your role.
A good understanding of UX principles
Highly analytical, with good knowledge of digital data tools and analysis (Google Analytics and Content Square preferred)
Experienced in conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis using Hotjar
Great communication skills, with an ability to work across a diverse set of stakeholders
Drive and ambition to succeed and continually improve.
Microsoft Office knowledge.
High attention to detail and accuracy and a ‘can do’ attitude
