We’re currently recruiting for a part time General Counsel Support Assistant to join our Operational Excellence team. This role will involve providing high quality administrative support across the General Counsel function at Phoenix Group. The Operational Excellence team provide a range of services to our Lawyers and Company Secretaries including contract signing processes on DocuSign, invoice processing, general adminsitration duties and getting involved to improve the functional processes. We are working flexibly in a hybrid model and this role is open across any of our offices.

There are always opportunities to get involved in wider functional initiatives and learn more about legal and company secretariat. no legal background is required to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality and professional administration
  • Manage contract execution process ensuring contracts database is maintained
  • Process invoices and keep cost trackers up to date
  • Build effective working relationships with business leaders and other support staff to support the function effectively
  • Time management for multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders
  • Keep up to date with GC technology solutions and any changes/updates
  • Working with highly confidential and sensitive material and maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Working in an extremely fast paced environment responding to requests often within short timescales.
  • Being flexible and shift approach to meet different stakeholder needs
  • Being able to deal with multiple tasks and issues simultaneously.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in an administration role
  • Education – Standard Grade / GCSE (or equivalent)


  • Experience on DocuSign
