We do it by putting every home in a city through a systematic vetting process which includes running all homes from proprietary AI, interview hosts and visit them in person with our hospitality experts.

The Role

This key hire to the Plum Guide Business Development team will work at the center of the sales organization to develop sales strategies, engage prospects and direct the sale of the Plum Guide platform.

You will work with the Head of Business Development to roll-out our ambitious Europe strategy, which entails finding, engaging and signing the very best Property Managers of the world and their homes.

Your will prospect and negotiate with accounts, qualify leads, and facilitate the acquisition of new property managers onto our platform. You will be a part of an exciting and growing company during a pivotal stage of growth and accordingly contribute to sales strategy discussions.

Responsibilities

  • “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (calls, meetings, emails, presentations etc.) to meet team acquisition and sales targets
  • Evaluate customers needs and build productive long lasting relationships
  • Research accounts and generate/follow through on sales leads
  • Develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness as a measure of ROI on time and energy
  • Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest industry developments
  • Report and provide feedback to management
  • Maintain and expand client database

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree Required
  • Bilingual with English and French or English and Spanish
  • 1-2 years of experience selling or believing you can sell
  • Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
  • B-2-B / Enterprise Sales Experience (preferred)
  • Self-starter, with proven professional success, who is prepared to work in a fast-paced, dynamic high-growth environment
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
  • Highly collaborative – and a great team player
  • Excellent technical aptitude, detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Commands respect via intelligence, knowledge, humility
