As part of our Growth Tribe, Champs ensure we’re responsive to customers and addressing their needs while playing an ever-increasing role in driving PortSwigger’s growth.

This is a job in which the right candidate will make a massive impact. Here’s why:

  • As PortSwigger’s first point of call for customers, you’ll help customers get what they need and identify how we can continually improve the ‘PortSwigger experience.’ With 58,000 customers and hundreds of thousands of people using our products, even small improvements to the customer experience drive large amounts of advocacy and revenue.
  • We have an NPS score higher than Apple’s! (+78) – our customers and users are our biggest supporters. As in many customer success roles, Champs get involved when customers have issues or problems. But PortSwigger’s customers are often our biggest fans and are pleased to interact with us. Further, unlike most typical ‘customer service’ roles, we use our customer interactions as the opportunity to gain the insights needed to continually improve the customer experience for all of our users.
  • This is a great opportunity to gain experience across all commercial functions, including marketing, sales, and customer success. We have removed silos between the traditional departmental lines, and Champs often lead key growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

Customer Champions are the liaison between PortSwigger and our customers. The role involves a wide variety of activities:

  • Respond to customer and user queries to ensure they have what they need to maximise the value they get from PortSwigger
  • As part of our Growth Tribe, work with the team to define and implement key growth initiatives to ensure customers derive maximum value from PortSwigger
  • Identify, prioritize, and advocate for opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Champion common customer needs. Find ways to remove friction and ensure that every new customers experience is better than the last.
