Intalect work with small and medium-sized business, they provide hands-on support to demystify your IT setup, get you working smarter, and get you back on track quickly if anything falls over.

They’ve worked across the education sector for many years. They can work to a budget and keep you safe, compliant and up to date with their ‘whole school’ solutions.

You will need to be:

A creative individual with a good level of literacy to carry out a range of creative and technical roles within their business, from image creation and editing, social media content creation and back-end analysis, through to assisting with the creation of a website and the management and upkeep of the site.

The role will provide the right candidate with a broad range of learning experiences. They will be providing a vital role within the business, with the ability to make a positive and lasting impact. The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in environmental and sustainability issues, as well as an appreciation for the kind of products they sell.

As part of this opportunity, duties include:

  • Answering Support Calls and Logging Tickets into Helpdesk System
  • Service Desk Support – Diagnosis of IT Issues and supporting users remotely using remote connection tools
  • Update Status and Notes details onto Support Tickets
  • Use of Software Support Tools
  • Use of Customer Documentation Platform
  • Installation of new software and hardware
  • Assist in system upgrades and system maintenance
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers and vendors
  • Assist in the set up and configuration of new Computers/Laptops/Servers and other hardware
  • Set up email security, Anti-Virus and support software for clients systems
  • Action ticket request changes and update relevant documentation

As a Primary Goal apprentice, you will have access to:

  • Comprehensive pre-apprenticeship induction programme (including health and safety and technical specifics)
  • Level 3 Digital Application Technician apprenticeship standard with 15 half-day training sessions

Being part of the Primary Goal community will give apprentices access to a range of other apprentices (with varying levels of experience) who can share good practice and offer suggestions and support. Our apprentices love being able to help each other!

Apprentices will have access to specialist industry partners for technology on hand to provide advice and support, access to resources and themed training days.

The Primary Goal portal is an online dashboard that will provide apprentices with a knowledge base to access information and technical guidance, as well as links to the helpdesk to speak to technicians who can give real-time advice and support.

We are looking for someone who:

Desired Qualifications:

We require someone who is educated to GCSE standard English and Maths grade 4 (or above), or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths.

Hours:

Monday – Friday 40 hours per week. 8:30am – 5:30pm with an hour lunch break

Salary:

£6.00p/h for the first 12 months. The remaining 11 months of the apprenticeship will be paid at the National Minimum wage according to your age.

Duration:

23 month apprenticeship programme
