We have a fantastic opportunity for a Social Impact and B Corp Manager to join our Sustainability team.

PZC is on an exciting transformation journey part of which focuses on the definition and achievement of a new Sustainability Strategy. In addition, PZC has a stated goal of becoming B Corporation Certified by 2026 which will also drive change across the organisation.

Reporting into the Chief Sustainability Officer and working alongside the B Corp Project Manager, Business Analyst and market/function leads for sustainability, you will be involved in the start-up and progression of the project for the organisation.

The successful candidate will work with colleagues at a group and market level helping them to build plans and tailor KPI’s tracking and reporting on this as well as more general project performance. The Role

We are looking for an organised and structured individual who can deliver on time critical deadlines and is an expert in B Corp, who has a strong interest in Sustainability. You will work closely with our global sustainability team to be a pivotal educator in guiding wider business units to achieving B Corp within the targeted time frames and develop a network of B Corp Champions across the group.


  • Prepares and maintains schedules of activities and events of the project considering dependencies and resource requirements.
  • Develops the project budget alongside work stream leads and drives the regular monthly cycle of re forecasting and the reporting of plan v actual costs.
  • Identifies and monitors project risks, defining and implementing plans to respond to such.
  • Implements frameworks and methods that ensure management of project will be comprehensive and consistent across different work stream’s.
  • Establishes and maintains the governance arrangements for the delivery of the project defining clear roles and responsibilities that align with the wider Transformation and Corporate practices.
  • Establishes and manages reviews at appropriate points ensuring that project quality and performance is optimized.
  • Develops the resource profile and allocation plans considering the knowledge and skills required and the availabilty of resources.
  • Ensures that project change control procedures are in place, and actively used to assess the effect risks, issues, assumptions, and change has on costs, timescale and/or resource needs and reports these to project sponsors.
  • Identifies, secures, and manages project resources to achieve project and organisational objectives in line with the project schedule, approved funding and within expected quality and timescales.
  • Demonstrates compliance with agreed methodology, standards, policies, and procedures to ensure strong governance, sharing knowledge and providing feedback and ideas so that performance is continually improved.
  • Shares knowledge and experience with the Project Management community, coaches less experienced Project Managers in specific subjects and is actively involved in continuous improvement activities affecting the project delivery framework.

Key Attributes/Skills:

  • Typically, 5+ years’ experience of leading sustainability related project delivery within FMCG industry or similar
  • Has led a business/multiple businesses to achieve B Corp status. Understand the requirements and can develop realistic and achievable plans.
  • Ideally experience of developed and developing markets.
  • Understands the principles of decision making and discretion and agrees with the sponsor the appropriate thresholds
  • Is proficient in the standards associated with the practitioner’s role.
  • Ideally a PRINCE2 and/or APM practitioner
  • Proficient in the hierarchy and culture of the organisation and able to identify decision makers and influencers to successfully implement changes
  • Able to utilise methods, techniques, and tools to prepare/monitor budgets that will minimise costs and ensure cost-effectiveness
