Join us as a Chief Marketing Officer

  • We’re looking for an experienced, analytical, and creative Chief Marketing Officer with solid experience in brand, digital marketing, and finance to drive our Mettle marketing and growth strategy
  • Reporting directly to our CEO, you’ll be inspiring and leading a high performing team
  • You’ll own and lead the development of the Mettle brand, marketing strategy, plans and execution across the entire marketing mix covering brand, digital, out-of-home, TV, radio, social media, events, and PR
  • Mettle is our ever-expanding business banking app built for the self-starters who are taking their passion to the next level, and you’ll make sure they have the tools they need to run the financial side of things, no matter who they are and how much experience they have

What you’ll do

You’ll lead your team to build and develop compelling brand campaigns, promoting Mettle as an iconic and trusted UK brand for businesses. You’ll support your team to develop and scale our partnerships strategy, and you’ll own the annual and quarterly budgeting process, designing from the bottom-up.

Working with wider organisation and our Ventures teams on cross brand procurement, you’ll communicate marketing plans and performance to your team as well as stakeholders across the business. You’ll also work closely with our product teams to build a customer relationship management and product marketing strategy, ensuring Mettle’s new features are promoted effectively.

As well as this, you’ll:

  • Own and drive the marketing KPIs and growth objectives
  • Drive a data driven and growth hacking approach to marketing, ensuring a test and learn ethos
  • Recruit, lead and inspire a fully functioning, high-performing, data driven marketing team
  • Lead the development of the brand, marketing strategy, plans and execution across the entire marketing catalogue

The skills you’ll need

We’re looking for someone with extensive senior marketing experience and a background running successful branded, data-driven growth strategies. You’ll be a skilled and inspiring leader with fantastic analytical skills and a strong communicator with a strategic mindset.

Your experience will also include:

  • Building, leading and inspiring high potential teams
  • Digital performance marketing capabilities
  • Knowledge and expertise of Fintechs
  • Managing budgets, monitoring spend, and optimising channel performance
