A fast-growing company is looking for an AWS Architect. The engineer will build a state-of-the-art backend in the Cloud Development Kit for an up-and-coming e-commerce and fintech startup. The ideal candidate is expected to have expert knowledge of AWS services to delve deep into hidden configurations and settings. This position presents the selected candidate with a chance to get started at a cutting-edge serverless backend equipped with the best-in-class toolchain.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build our state-of-the-art backend in AWS CDK
  • Get into the most in-depth and hidden configuration settings of AWS services
  • Contribute ideas on improving the development process to deliver efficient results

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science(or equivalent experience)
  • Proficient with AWS CDK, Typescript, and serverless architectures
  • Good command and expertise in DynamoDB, API Gateway, AppSync, Cognito, S3, Lambda, Cloudfront
  • Ability to tackle issues within cloud architecture built in AWS CDK
  • Working knowledge of functionalities such as custom directives, schema merging, and custom AppSync resolvers is nice to have
  • Must have fluent verbal and written communication in English
