A fast-paced company that provides SaaS tools to independent musicians required to compete with major artists is looking for a React Front-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for assuring that the code meets quality standards. The company offers a platform for selling music to hundreds of worldwide retailers such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Beatport, Amazon, TikTok, and many more. The company has managed to raise more than $2 mn in funding. This full-time position requires an overlap with the European time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues, delivery, and support teams to identify, describe, and analyze process bottlenecks and concerns and suggest effective and pragmatic solutions
- Complete tasks on schedule, identifying any delays or concerns as soon as possible and offering feasible solutions
- Ensure that the code delivered fulfills quality criteria
- Participating in scrum ceremonies (dailies, mid-sprint, planning, presentation)
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Knowledge of React and Typescript
- Familiarity with Redux
- Knowledge of test-driven development
- Experience in setting up e2e tests using Jest
- Capable of styling interfaces using styled components and emotion
- General web application knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Having worked within the AWS ecosystem is nice to have
- Highly motivated with good problem-solving and English speaking & writing skills
