My client, a widely known main contractor within the social housing sector, is currently looking to appoint an Senior Repairs planner to the contract in Streatham. These would be an temporary to permanent appointments.

Whilst experience as an Repairs planners and scheduler would be an advantage, the client is also willing to consider applications from Trades staff, Repairs Planners, customer service in repairs who have experience of supervising staff previously. Experience within the social housing sector is essential.

Key duties include

• Be responsible for Works Scheduling / Planning, monitoring workforce and sub-contractors to ensure that they comply with relevant specifications whilst delivering on or before works order target dates (all work types – Voids, Responsive and Planned).
• Tool box talks and HSE monitoring
• All administrative work, dealing with invoicing issues and certifications when required
• Liaison with the client and tenants, dealing with complaints
• To ensure all works orders received are scheduled immediately upon receipt and thereafter completed within target timescales leading to delivery of contractual key performance indicators.
• To ensure that all jobs are appointed at first contact and thereafter monitor systems to ensure appointments made are kept by the workforce and report appointment failings immediately to the supervisor.

working hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

rate is £15.00-£16.50 umbrella non negotiable
