An exciting Head of Infrastructure and Cloud Operation (x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the most respected global financial services firms based in Thailand. Reporting directly to the Head of IT. This is a role for head of infrastructure who is a leader in their field.

About The Head Of Infrastructure And Cloud Operation Role

In this business critical role you will lead the infrastructure and network delivery team in managing the following – plan, direct, coordinate the design, installation and connectivity of computer systems and network infrastructure, data centre security systems and other electronic infrastructure including managing vendors and group functions (where any of these functions are managed by group service delivery teams).

The salary range for this role is THB170k – 200k per month + bonus + insurance + provident fund.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for defining and implementing IT infrastructure delivery framework, ensuring stability, capacity, and quality of core services including the roll out of related procedures from the group
Ensure compliance with all group policies and standards related to IT infrastructure, including incident management
Establishment of ITIL incident management processes and management of production incidents
Lead the desktop support function, providing timely and helpful services to end users
Ensure compliance with IT and Information security working closely with the group and local information security functions
Manage vendors to support infrastructure tasks such as network performance, email, file server, etc.
Work closely with the group IT delivery teams
Research for related technology, tools, etc. and plan schedule
Overseeing budgets, the strategic alignment of IT investments

To succeed in this role, you must have knowledge in IT infrastructure, cloud and security.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related fields
Seven -10 years of IT infrastructure and network management experience
Knowledge in IT security management
Knowledge in cloud technology
General knowledge in ITSM framework, ISMS, ISO27001
Experience working with a variety of software and services vendors, including SaaS and other cloud-based solutions
Experience defining environment, incident, and support frameworks
High analytical skills and the ability to analyse environments for continuous improvement and stability
Strong communication skill with problem solving skill
Fast learner, self-initiative, responsible, teamwork
