Summary –
IT Server Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of IT infrastructure implementation, design, and management.
Key Responsibilities
· To perform diagnostic, root cause analysis and problem solving of windows Servers 2012-2016, Citrix
XenApps, Vmware ESX server, SAN Storage, HPE SimpliVity and Hyper-V etc.
· To perform system administration tasks such as server deployment, upgrade, patch installation, tuning and daily user accounts administration.
· To review and analyse, on regular basis, security logging, and antivirus protection status.
· Perform Infrastructure design and project management of various IT project.
· To work with various IT support teams to identify & enhance IT control.
3. Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
· Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not
limited to, the Hong Kong Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy. Complete any
mandatory training in line with legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements.
· Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all
mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
· Refrain from taking any steps which could lead to the removal of certification of fitness and
properness to perform the role.
· Undertake all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.
· Comply with all applicable conduct rules as prescribed by the relevant regulator.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
· University graduate in computer science or equivalent.
· At least 5 years’ experience IT Infrastructure experience.
· Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Windows 2016 Active Directory & Group Policy objects, Citrix
XenApp , HyperV, and VMware.
· Experience in MS Windows 2016 server and Linux server migration/upgrade would be an advantage.
· Support experience in banking environment and Holder of Microsoft Certification is highly preferred.
· Good communication in English both verbal and written.
