Snr OLM BA is positioned within Shell Energy Europe SOM team which is a part of the larger Trading & Supply SOM team and plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations of applications and their related back end and infra components. You will liaise with a diverse set of business and IT natural teams to deliver the Shell Energy Europe ambitions & business outcomes.

What’s the role?

  • End-to-end application operations delivery with technical and functional skills where the size and scale of the application landscape requires a specialist to assist in the application support delivery for their landscapes for all incident, problem, and change related activities.
  • Acting as a functional expert for both business process and review solutions.
  • Assisting with Transition to Support activities in reviewing the solutions ensuring operate by design principles.
  • Working collaboratively and effectively leading across multi-functional teams, interfacing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, based in various locations, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Delivering smooth operations of applications and their related back-end technology. The Senior Business Analyst drives reduction in incident volume and provides speedy and quality problem resolution.

What we need from you?

  • Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Information Technology or similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in application development, service management operations, and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in applications support and IT services management.
  • Experience in Energy Trading ETRMs product – Aligne / Trade capturing exchanges like Trayport OR strong Azure skills in Azure data function / BI reporting with exposure to Trading domain, especially power
  • Understanding Gas & Power scheduling / nomination products.
  • Trading and risk management (Energy) knowledge IT experience related to the power, LNG, gas, or energy sector.
