The purpose of this job to responsible for ensuring that the supply chain is efficient and effective throughout the Shell sites, and to maximize the profitability of FMCG categories in the stores of the Shell retail sites.

Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics Manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.

The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Principal Accountabilities:

– Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

at the Logistics company

– Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle

– Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers

– Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

– Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements

– Managing central and local promotions (including all new promotions, local, happy hours)

– Support Category Managers team with reporting – including reports preparation

– Support Category Managers in stock management including

– Reporting

– Checking and correcting orders from sites

– Proactive member of the CEE CR team and the local Retail team

Key Challenges:

– Working in a fast-paced, complex, virtual organization under pressure

– Working in the field for 1 days in the week

Ability to manage the relationship with Sales & Operations effectively to ensure delivery of

the plans at site level

Desired skills and experience:

3-5 years working experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
Master’s degree
Fluency in spoken and written English and Hungarian
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Well-developed negotiation and analytical skills
Self-motivated personality, strong internal drive to deliver results
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and deliver in complex, virtual environment
