What You’ll Do

  • Deliver our data compliance strategy and plans to address challenges & risks embedding good practices via controls framework, procedures & practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the development and implementation of tools and techniques to better manage compliance and maintain compliance dashboards
  • Collaborate with investigations into breaches, assist with audits and remedial work.
  • Excellently manage our compliance RAID Log ensuring each risk is understood and appropriately handled
  • Create, publish and maintain relevant compliance documentation supporting the implementation and roll out of policy changes and support annual data reviews in collaboration with Data Assurance and Data Owners/Stewards
  • Excellent enabler who brings teams and departments together to address issues and solutions, clearing the fog when complex problems are presented working through to resolution aiming to keeping it simple wherever possible.

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering and maintaining successful initiatives in the compliance space
  • A curious, continuous improvement mindset with a good understanding of or experience in risk, the role of risk in compliance and with risk assessment methodology and strong experience in compliance, data governance and the tools and methods available.
  • Understands complex problems, exercises judgement and analytical thought to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-data audiences and able to create and drive direction, especially where there is no obvious path.
  • Results-oriented, diligent, champions best practices for data compliance, governance & quality supporting new approaches to data management
  • Brilliant relationship management and influencing skills at all levels and to very differing audiences whilst exercising discretion on sensitive & confidential matters.

Your office base:

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
