Healthcare Assistant – Wards
HCA | Wards | Care | Full time | 37.5 hours per week | North Cheam | £20,000 – £23,000 Depending on experience
Spire St Anthony’s Hospital are looking to recruit an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our fantastic Ward team. You will be working across a flexible rota 7 days per week that will also include night shifts.
Founded in 1904, Spire St Anthony’s Hospital delivers care from skilled and dedicated staff working together with leading medical practitioners. With a recent 27m development investment we provide very high quality healthcare to patients around Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London. We offer a different approach to private healthcare offering a variety of specialist treatments across 6 theatres, a Physiotherapy Department with Hydrotherapy Pool and offer level 2 and 3 critical care.
Duties And Responsibilities
Based on our wards you will be responsible for providing a caring support service to our patients. You will be providing basic nursing care in conjunction with our qualified nurses which will include observations through to assistance with hygiene and movement.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience working as a HCA preferably within hospital, but not essential as training will be given
- A caring demeanour with great communication skills is a must
- Ideally you will have NVQ level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
- Flexibility to work on our rota including night shifts and weekends
