This is an exciting opportunity to join a global engineering firm that is expanding rapidly throughout the UK. We’re looking to build our already successful infrastructure team in the UK and bring in a BREEAM Assessor to work from any of our UK offices on an initial part-time basis with a view to be made permanent.
As a member of our Infrastructure team, your role will involve undertaking a full range of BREEAM assessments from inception through to completion whilst assisting with the preparation of fee proposals and attending site visits to collect evidence. You will also host and lead design team workshops and meetings, processing evidence and information as required for the BREEAM audit process. Projects will typically be across the energy, infrastructure, waste and sustainability sectors, they are UK wide and vary in scale.

Training and qualification in BREEAM are essential, preferably within a wide range of scheme typologies. Other assessment methods such as HQM or CEEQUAL or undertaking Life Cycle Assessments would be desirable but not mandatory. You will have a clear understanding of Building Regulations, Planning Policy and general awareness of the wider sustainability context.
Proven experience working across multidisciplinary teams will be expected to provide high-quality work within agreed timescales, budget and quality frameworks are essential. You will also have the ability to produce concise verbal and written reports, guidance and technical notes.
You will be a positive and enthusiastic team player who should have good communication skills to assist with a range of projects and be confident to liaise with and advise all levels of management, both internally and externally.
