You will be working through Hays Social Care in a long-term placement in either an adult or children's residential home in Withernsea, supporting clients with autism. We have ongoing assignments available in these homes. Shifts vary from 6-12 hour shifts and some 24 hour shifts with sleepovers.
Your new role
You will work alongside the existing staff team to support adults and children in their day to day lives. This can include helping them to access education, work, excursions, cooking, cleaning, financial management and personal care.
What You'll Need To Succeed
You need to have at least 6 months recent experience of working in care, a passion for promoting independence and be able to adapt to new clients and teams quickly.
