Role Overview

Introduction to the role:

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our IT Transformation team.

We work primarily with off the shelf solutions configured to meet our business requirements.

Projects range from smaller solutions such as room booking systems to major software projects that span the entire business such as finance system upgrades.

Introduction To The Team

As part of the Delivery and Change department in the firm, you will be part of a large team of Project Managers, Business Analysts and Testers within the PMO. Within the firm wide PMO, you will bring to the team your experience and ability to roll up your sleeves and assist with an exciting change within the business. The team delivers all projects across the firm and is a well-respected part of our business model. We have high standards for work but we also have fun while we’re doing it and work as a team fully supporting each other.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis – current processes / working with the business in different workstreams
  • Documentation – of current processes, new processes, agreed decisions etc
  • Testing – design of tests / execution of system testing of new and existing systems
  • Training – assistance with training materials and plans etc


What we are looking for

  • Demonstrate experience of business analysis practices and documentation including analysis and investigation
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
  • Previous project or program experience
  • Experience of process mapping and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
  • Previous involvement in complex data migrations
  • Able to demonstrate experience in stakeholder management in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Ability to understand and respond to user needs in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate tact and diplomacy when liaising with stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team


  • Knowledge of the legal sector
  • Upgrade projects (systems & technical infrastructure)
  • Working in an environment of a lot of system integrations
