The Scrum Master is responsible for the systematic introduction, support and continuous improvement of agile product development via Scrum on the basis of agile values. He/she also ensures the further development of the Scrum teams.

About The Job

  • Take responsibility for the introduction, expansion and further development of agility within the company as well as the introduction of an understanding of agile principles within the organisation
  • Take responsibility for a Scrum Team and implementing the productivity increase of the development team
  • Establish the self-organisation of the team and promote the autonomous work of the team members
  • Implement a clear understanding of roles in the organisation and within the Scrum Team as well as identify areas of responsibility
  • Identify and actively manage impediments
  • Assure transparent communication on the progress of the process, the impediments & solutions
  • Identify, de-escalate and resolve conflicts
  • Proactively moderate rule meetings as part of the Scrum workflow

About You

  • Degree in a technical subject or business studies, or comparable IT expertise and experience acquired on-the-job
  • Very good knowledge of agile working methods (Kanban/Scrum), experience in implementing these methods in the company and mastery of project management methods
  • Experience as a change manager and organisational developer
  • Mastery of moderation, presentation, visualisation techniques and feedback methods
  • SCRUM Master certification and/or other project management certifications
  • Software expertise in Jira and MS Office desirable
  • Very good organisational and problem-solving ability
  • Autonomous and independent work style, willingness to take on responsibility
  • Assertive, persuasive combined with good negotiating skills
  • Proactively seek and give feedback
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty and change
  • Strong social skills combined with high resilience and ability to resolve conflicts and reach consensus
  • Languages: fluent English
