This role is an exciting opportunity to join the data Exploitation team within the Defence Data Office (DDO). The Data Exploitation Business Analyst will report to the B2 Data Exploitation Demand Lead and provide support to the data and digital transformation of Defence. They will perform research and analyses of business demand, data requests, analytical use case requirements, and existing processes for internal efficiency analysis. The successful applicant will manage multiple projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders whilst balancing impact on business need, they will translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders (and vice-versa), gather requirements and prioritise solutions. The role is a key business partner and will provide analytical support and guidance to the Chief Data Office on topics including Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence, in order to meet the business and operational challenges of the organisation. As such, they will be responsible for managing relationships across service areas and organisations, including DSTL, Defence Organisations, Front Line Commands and external partners. As part of the role you may be required to travel to other MOD locations across the UK and be willing to undertake regular travel within the UK, including the occasional overnight stay away from home.-->
