In a Nutshell…

We have a great opportunity for a Social Value & Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team within Vistry Partnerships North West, at our Partington Site. As our Social Value & Community Engagement Coordinator you will be responsible for establishing and promoting the role of Vistry Partnerships in generating social value and community benefits at the Heath Farm project, developing relationships with local community groups and stakeholders. Manage the implementation of the project, skills academy and community engagement Oversee performance and reporting against KPI targets. “Our Vision is to set the precedent for High quality regeneration across Trafford and Greater Manchester”. Vistry Partnerships are developing Heath Farm in Joint Venture with Trafford Housing Trust. Heath Farm, situated in Partington Trafford is the first phase of a wider regeneration on Carrington and will see a number of new homes built for open market sale and affordable housing.

This is a Fixed Term contract part time for 18 months, (18 hours per week)

  • Development or regeneration sector – developer, housebuilder, local authority, housing association
  • Delivery of digital inclusion sessions

  • Communication skills at all levels of community and stakeholders – written and verbal
  • Empathetic with experience in dealing sensitively with stakeholders

  • Customer Service/ Administrator related qualification

  • Skills centre delivery or operational experience

  • Take the lead role in promoting Vistry Partnerships with local community and stakeholders in the delivery of Heath Farm.
  • Building and fostering relationships with local residents, communities and stakeholder groups.
  • Developing and managing a programme of liaison and engagement activities.
  • Working with Vistry Partnerships project team to ensure the smooth implementation of commitments and programmes for local communities including permanent, interim and meanwhile uses.
  • Monitoring and reporting progress and using this information to shape emerging and future approaches to community liaison and social value.
  • Development Agreement compliance for social value, community engagement and KPIs obligations.
  • Developing the on-site Skills Academy.
  • Capture data and produce case studies information for tender/PQQ and PR.
  • Deliver presentations and Health and safety talks to schools.
  • Coordinate and deliver school visits and public site visits.
  • Support learners throughout academy programme.
  • Mentoring, guidance and support for the onsite apprentices.
  • Liaise with schools, colleges and groups wishing to book the academy for training.
  • Promote Careers in Construction and the Built Environment.
  • Develop community and stakeholder engagement and social value programme, aligning with planning application engagement process.
  • Develop social value digital training sessions alongside stakeholder engagement programme.
  • Improve digital literacy – support the Connected Club.
  • Reduce social digital inclusion and reduce unemployment.
  • Support Sales and Marketing Strategy – Case study to be produced.
  • Identify local community groups, school and stakeholders and develop interest for inclusion in the stakeholder programmes.
  • Co-ordinate arrangement and delivery of community events, including stakeholder liaison, venue, event collateral and social media platform.
  • Report for Project Review Meetings. Provide monthly update for Heath Farm Joint Venture board reports.
  • Generate local economic growth through training and employment opportunities
  • Manage compliance with Development Agreement obligations for social value, community engagement, skills academy and KPI.
  • Attend monthly meetings with the on-site team, coordinating and reporting on the academy progress.
  • Manage Vistry involvement in the Heath Farm joint venture agreement for Heath Farm Skills Academy.
  • Co-ordination of appointed training provider, schools, colleges and employment agencies to fulfil Development Agreement employment and training obligations.
  • Reduce the skills gap through engagement with schools/colleges/Job Centre Plus/TEES group
  • Establish measurable KPIs in accordance with Joint Venture obligations.
