Created by a team of proven FinTech entrepreneurs in 2016, Vitesse PSP is an FCA regulated payments business that provides global payment services to a range of businesses. Vitesse operates one of the largest domestic banking and payment networks in the world, giving its customers direct access to more than 100 countries’ domestic payment networks, covering over 60 currencies. Through a single integration, merchants gain access to in-country payment routing, resulting in significantly lower payment costs and much faster delivery. To date, the company has processed over £3bn across more than 3 million transactions.

Vitesse serves customers (including Brit Insurance, DXC Technology, Sedgwick and Visa) in three key markets:

Insurance – greater visibility and control of loss funds and faster claims settlement.

Payroll – a simplified payment process for a global workforce.

FinTech – supporting businesses to expand their global reach.

Of these segments Insurance is the largest in revenue terms and also the fastest growing largely as a result of success in the Lloyds of London market, where Vitesse has established itself as the market leader. Vitesse is contracted with over 60% of the Lloyds market and provides treasury management and data insights as well as supporting claims payments.

Vitesse has recently closed a $26m Series B funding round, led by Prime Ventures, with participation from Octopus Ventures and HDI, the corporate venture capital arm of HannoverRe. Vitesse is currently generating revenues with an annual run rate of ~£5m and the business plan is to double revenue in each of the next three to four years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We have changed the face of local collections with Envoy Services (acquired by Worldpay in 2011) and we have a clear vision of how to reshape the payments industry, based on decades of industry experience.

We currently employ over 65 people and have offices in London and Rotterdam.

YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the VP People, this role will be responsible for dealing with the full spectrum of Office Management and People Operations.

A multi-functional role with varied duties, this is a role that will suit an individual who enjoys an operational role at the centre of the business, a varied workload and who is super approachable and very much a people person.

The Office Manager will be managing our London office (~50 staff) and a key initial task will be project managing the move to our new office space in May. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of People operations, ensuring a smooth running function that is responsive to the needs of employees and managers.

This is an exciting time to join Vitesse given the planned office move as well as the expansion of our People function (with a new VP People joining).

Responsibilities will include:

People Operations:

Manage the lifecycle for potential and current team members Employee lifecycle:

onboarding; variations to contract and offboard

Draft offer letters and contracts

Organise our employee engagement surveys

Ensure the maintenance and integrity of all data, systems and processes including

BambooHR and drive an increasing automation of processes

Provide management information (MI) and data to senior managers and using it to

deliver improvements in HR operations process

Office Management:

Manage all aspects of our imminent London office move.

Ensure the London office (~50 staff) is well organised and tidy.

Office admin and basic office reception responsibilities (e.g. picking up calls,

receiving mails).

Manage travel arrangements such as booking flights and hotels.

Order supplies like stationary and kitchen groceries.

Organise office social events and general well-being initiatives for the London

office.

Organise building maintenance (contractors, landlords, risk assessments).

Chief fire safety, general health and safety and security.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Prior experience as office manager is essential

Exposure to HR processes and procedures is desired

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Have the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities and have a calm and methodical approach

Excellent organisation skills, ability to work under pressure and manage priorities

Excellent attention to detail

Experience using an HR Information System such as BambooHR or HiBob would be advantageous

Results driven and process oriented
