With over 8 million members, VoucherCodes is one of the UK’s largest money saving websites. Partnered with big brands like John Lewis, Nike, Argos, Expedia and Pizza Express, we receive over 8 million visits per month. We’re looking for an experienced commercial and marketing leader with a solid background in digital.

We’re currently looking for a Customer Initiatives Director to lead across our affinity audiences and DealFinder product. This role is a unique opportunity to take complete ownership of the initiatives roadmap and revenue and EBITDA goals.

You’ll also join the UK Executive Leadership Team that shapes and drives the wider company strategy and culture for our team of over 100 talented individuals. The role reports directly into the Managing Director, UK.

We are looking for somebody with senior leadership experience of delivering in a fast paced company with experience of doubling growth across products and audiences. You will be able to make solid decisions, based on data and insights and execute rapidly to successfully scale the company’s products that are right for our customers.

What We Need From You

Reporting to the UK MD, you’ll be responsible for leading our Customer Initiatives and be instrumental in driving our plans to support company objectives and key initiatives, using data to make smart decisions. As a senior member of our organisation you’ll be integral to shaping and driving the culture and direction of VoucherCodes for our customer initiatives.

  • Take ownership for Revenue and EBITDA goals to deliver growth ambition, forecast accurately and communicate to business owners
  • Success working collaboratively across departments to deliver on your goals
  • Ability to “get stuff done” in a constantly evolving environment
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviours that align to our values
  • Strong understanding of customer acquisition, engagement and retention strategies.
  • Experience working on consumer facing digital products
  • Understand market trends and ensure our initiatives stay relevant and innovative.
  • Clear communication skills to ensure wider org understands goals and priorities
  • Sense of urgency to deliver goals
  • Work closely with our partnerships team to secure high profile and long term deals with merchants relevant for our affinity audiences
  • Experience of working on on high profile long term commercial relationships
  • Passion for sharing learnings across Ziff Davis
  • Flexibility to take on more projects and product responsibilities as the business needs
  • 15+ years of experience in a digital environment

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Growing revenue and EBITDA for our priority customer initiatives – affinity and DealFinder
  • Work collaboratively to deliver 2022 customer acquisition, retention and LTV goals.
  • Collaborating with leaders across the business to ensure successful execution of initiative plans to deliver commercial and customer goals.
  • Ensure compliance across all customer related processes and review processes as/if required.
  • Work closely with partnerships to secure deals that are aligned to customer goals
  • Over and above BAU and as agreed with Leadership team and establish a road map of customer initiative projects such as:
    • New affinity audiences
    • Review of all customer touch points and customer data capture
    • Projects around new revenue and customer opportunities e.g. Microsoft Distribution and more partnerships
    • Working closely with the Leadership Team to define KPIs, reporting, analyses to drive business decisions
    • Delivering executable insights, identifying quantifiable growth opportunities and articulating these to senior leaders and key decision makers to help improve the customer experience and engagement and grow the business
    • Providing thought leadership around customer and data innovation
    • Working with French and US marketing teams to leverage and share best practices
