A brand new independent Opticians based in Hinckley, Leicestershire are looking for a part time Optical Assistant to join the team.

Optical Assistant – Role

• Single testing room practice
• Completely new refurbished practice
• Working alongside an experienced Manager
• Ensuring every customer is left feeling satisfied
• Dispensing to all levels
• Reception, admin and glazing duties
• Access to brands such as Ted Baker, William Morris and Prada
• Part time – 3 days a week including a Saturday
• Opening hours from 9am to 5.30pm (5pm on a Sat)
• Salary between £18,000 to £21,000 pro rata
• Further training and development opportunities
• Chance to be part of something exciting

Optical Assistant – Requirements

• Previous experience of working within an Opticians
• Independent experience would be an advantage
• Dispensing knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills
• Passion for Optometry and working in a close knit team
